Toasted Apple.Blueberry.Pear Crumble
Happiness in a Jar – Apple Pear and blueberry crumble with Toasted Oats
Who doesn’t like a crumble? Especially that fresh aroma of cinnamon in the house and that brewing cup of hot coffee.. a dream come true..
However, preparing the traditional crumble is not always possible.
So, I tried a different version of the crumble and probably a healthier version and trust me this totally satisfies that uncalled for craving! 🙂

Ingredients:
2 cups Oats
1 tsp butter
2 tsp demerara sugar
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 apples, finely chopped
1 pear, finely chopped
handful blueberries
How to make it?
Dry roast oats in a pan until light brown, add demerrera sugar and roast for another 2 minutes and turn off the gas. Empty the roasted oats into another bowl.
In the same pan, add 1 tsp butter , 2 finely chopped apples, vanilla essence, cinnamon powder and 1/2 cup water and cook until apples start turning soft. Add the blueberries, chopped pear and cook until tender.
Serve warm or cold with a dollop of chilled greek yogurt !
